I have a lifetime of experience and knowledge with horses. I grew up in Tumalo, Oregon and have been riding horses for almost three decades now. My passion for these amazing animals has led me to a life dedicated to them. I describe my style of training as "Downhome Horsemanship" as I am Real, Low Key and Focused on putting the Horse First and creating a solid foundation for each so that they are ready to succeed in the humans world. My training is inspired by great Natural Horsemen and the Philosophy, Principles and Techniques of Natural Horsemanship!

Horse boarding
Owners live on-site and provide professional supervision. Large Individual pastures, riding arena, 50' training round pen, obstacle course, close to riding trails. We feed High-quality grass hay and will provide special care at owners request for additional fees. Full Care Board $290 Full Board & Training package $650 also available Horse Trailer Storage Fee $75 month

High Desert Horse and Farm is an amazing place! my favorite place I have ever had my horse at. my horse is always relaxed there. it is a calm and peaceful environment. I have also had Skylar work with 2 of my horses. He is amazing with horses! he really knows what he is doing and just has a way with them. I have a mare that is a pain in the booty and isnt a fan of people at all, but she accepts Skylar which is incredible. he is definitely one of my favorite people I have had work with my horse and I know I can trust him 100% with mine which I cant say often. he has also worked with me on my confidence while riding because I have had bad experiences. with his direction I stay calm and I feel my confidence build. I highly recommend him for boarding, working with your horse, and even taking lessons!! I have nothing bad to say about this place at all!
